Some recent comments:
Our daughter gets the magazine before we do and when she called a few days ago she was almost speechless in telling us how moved she was by the section on al-Nakba. Now I’ve read it myself (not easy) and I understand how she felt. It's a terrific issue. I don’t see how the magazine keeps getting better, but it does.
The May/June issue is positively stunning! You know, of course, that people all over the country will be carefully removing the centerfold and framing it for display.
Your work for Palestinians will not be forgotten. I’ll treasure this issue.
The cover photo of the man in Ramallah could have been taken near my own village. He looks like my grandfather. Thank you.
Thanks for publishing my story. I almost teared when I read it and read the other versions about the fate of some of the refugees who were driven out in April 1948. I have e-mailed this to all those on my list hoping that some of them will subscribe to your precious magazine. Your work and your rebellion against injustice especially in the environment of U.S. policies and politics is greatly appreciated.
Please also take this opportunity to subscribe, or purchase a subscription for a friend or family member. For only $29, you will receive nine issues a year, including the latest issue, “Voices of the Nakba.”
